What to Do When You See a Snake
Red-bellied black snakes are pretty shy, but they can still be dangerous. The canteen workers who found this snake knew not to touch it themselves. Instead, they called snake catchers Sally Anorman to come and help out. If you see a snake, run or try back off slowly - if it's venomous, just do the same. When you're a safe distance away, tell a grown up so they can call a professional snake catcher. We have reached the end of our countdown. I'm off to find some fresh news stories for next week's show.
