Spearman and the History of Factor Analysis
Spearman was not a eugenicist. And indeed, he was really interested in the general understanding of the expression of cognitive ability and intelligence. He had very broad and open views on a lot of his stuff. We just have to keep straight who was believing what as they proceeded with their program of work.
