i would like to add that joe manson's disdain for poor people here ended up trumping his embrace of the fossil fuel industry. While i'm really thrilled about the climate stuff, we should not forget the losses that he incurred. I completely agree with what you're saying about the a social safety intat part of it. To me, that sucks. But we can do social democracy in a decade. It's, it's, we need it now. And so while this is not the bill that i think anybody wanted a year ago, the absolutely existential stuff, as you say, shockingly, caves ere more or less unscathed - which is just bizarre.
