West Virginia Is Going to Be a Slave State

West Virginia is going to be a slave state when it enters the union. Slavery and the ending of slavery is becoming more of a priority for Lincoln's government in the union. Delegates like Gordon Battelle want to end slavery the moment the state is created. The majority opinion is held by people like John Carlisle that, like everything else, it needs to be given to the voters of Western Virginia to decide.
