Refugee Status or Asylum Status?
i'm curious, what is the differece between refugee status and asylum status? Like, aren't both sort of these humanitarian crises being served? It's about when you get designated in the eyes of the us Government. If you meet someone who is an asilee, what that means is that they came to the us, either on a temporary visa or without papers, and then they said, hey, i'm in humanitarian danger. And ultimately the us. Government said, yup, we agree. In this context, that's superrelevant.
