Hank Gathers had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He was known to have a heart condition and what happened was after his collapsed, they made a decision to resuscitate him out of public view. We should be mindful that back then this was not on the radar as much as it is now. But anyway, so our response to the collapsed athlete, we've learned quite a bit from some of the tragic cases unfortunately.
