The Resilience of Travel and the Resiliency of Our Business
It's exactly a year since i had the privilege to be appointed ceo and succeed arne. It's been an unbelievable year. The good news is travel is coming back. A revenue per available in the fourth quarter was only down 19 % versus where we were in two thousand 19. And obviously we haven't seen the the underlying business match pre pandemic levels yet, but that's the way the stock market works. If i depend on marriot stock, it's very positive. We're going to have a resurgence of international travel. We're not going to close down travel to russia, to china, and we're all going to get along and be a big global community
