ENS was founded by Jeff Lau, Makoto and Beltran as a small team of four. Lau: "I think a lot of people never consider that they can be anything other than a venture capital funded for-profit project" If you want to build your own public good, decide whether or not it wants to become self-sustaining; then find out where the funding will come from. You need to show real value so organizations are willing to support you because you're delivering something really useful which they're able to fund.
