The people in Brazil hate Lula because of the anomalies that showed up in some of the election results. It's similar to what happened in the United States during the midterm elections where public opinion was widely against President Biden. And yet, even though they expressed that kind of discontent, even though inflation is as high as it is, even though gas is so expensive, even though food prices are astronomical,. still the Democrats saved off the red wave in the midterms.
