Dionius and the Horses
Dionius, the king's father-in-law, was owed money by Ixion for a dowry. He kept trying to talk his way out of it but never got anywhere. One night he snuck into the royal stables and stole some of the king's most prized horses. This wasn't nearly enough money to cover the cost of the dowry, but Dionius figured he could get a decent chunk of change for the king's horses. Plus, it was more a matter of principle. The king owed him money and he hadn't paid. But instead of arresting Dionius or sending him to jail, Ixion decided to invite him over for dinner. At
