Introduction
The Declaration of Independence was adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4th, 1776. Richard Henry Lee had drafted a statement for the world to declare the reason for such an action. The declaration was sent to a young Irish immigrant, John Dunlop, official printer of the Congress.
