I think this has been a great run for passive funds, particularly us. Large cap index funds, and recent years. And i do think there's an opportunity for active managers, quality active managers that don't charge too much... to make hay. I would probably take that second bet, which is to find five quality actively invested funds, equity funds, and go with them.
