Vaccination probably does provide some protective immunity, but we don't really know how much in this particular outbreak. So can we presume it doesn't ever go airborn? Well, i always say we we should be humble about what we knows, what we don't know about this firus. We have a little bit of knowledge from what happened in the two thousand small outbreak in the united states in two thousand three forty seven cases from imported gambian rats that were put into a facility next to prairie dogs. Why wouldt anyone import a ratsu? And so uno you can imagine that the studies that we had wi animal model studies are very different context than our human ones.
