Genetic Programming Is Not Artificial Evolution
Doych says genetic programming may produce learning, in that perhaps any useful change can be considered learning, but it is not artificial evolution. I think that all the learning and creation of new o ledge in the robot happened in the mind of the graduate student that created the evolutionist as that example to get your robot to walk. Doich makes the argument that there's no knowledge created in that process. He's in context, is what he's referring to.
