There is an element of her that childbirth was a horribly risky business in the ancient world. It's still a pretty risky trauma-tizing business now, but it was even more so in the ancientworld. So having a demoness who you could say an incantation and clutch and amulet can help with things like this. And those incantation balls are written by a woman, which is lovely. But there's so many different rabbit holes we could go down after that. She picks stuff up and sort of almost cannibalizes other myths and draws them into herself.
