The Beauty of Gertie McDowell
Gertie mcdowell was pronounced beautiful by all who knew her. Her figure was slight and graceful inclining even to fragility the wax and power of her face was almost spiritual in its ivory-like purity though her rose-bud mouth was a genuine cupid's bow greekly perfect. There was an innate refinement a languid queenly ohtura about gertie which was unmistakably evidenced in her delicate hands and high arched instep. Gertie had kind fate but willed her to be born a gentle woman of high degree in her own right and had she only been able to do so.
