Electricity and Hydrogen Are Not Alternatives to Fossil Fuels

Electric vehicles have already replaced almost 5% of vehicles powered by internal combustion engines. The electric vehicle revolution is an important step toward energy transition, but it's not a solution unto itself. To say we're going to replace fossil fuels with electricity or hydrogen "simply doesn't make sense," says John Defterios. We'll explore those options in detail in later episodes.
