The Importance of a Client Class in Politics

I think it's important for people to understand that while I'm 100% on board with the idea, you know, I'm not a populist. I do think that elites matter in elites drive opinion and their leadership is what shapes culture. And if it doesn't, you can make it work for a while, you can just go on raw power. But you're certainly not going to garner the kind of support that people are looking for to really change this system like we're looking at now.
