The Role of the Board in the RTE Board
RTE board apparently had no oversight over top presenter pay. But the director general sat on the board and was at all eight meetings in 2020. A big issue on her agenda that year was the renegotiation of Ryan Turbord's contract. That renegotiation led to this agreement with Renault. The question is, was D4s asked about this at the board? What did she say if she was asked that left the board in the dark?
