Suspected Suicide Attempts

Data were collected as part of this ongoing programme called national cindromic surveillance programme, which collects data from participating hospitals across the country to collect and monitor health data. But one thing that i wanted to point out about their definition of suspected suicide attempts is that it includes visits for suicide attempts but also includes, qote, some non suicidal self harm visits. Non suicidal self harm is a very distinct behavior from a suicide tape. And it bothers me a little bit that these are being lumped into the same category.
