The whole Toyota base to me what I heard was skunk works. Like setting up a little org within an org sheltered from the bureaucracy of how a typical organization would do. It looks like to go super fast having very few clear rules helps. Most companies have hundreds of policies just for procurement there's more than 100 policies alone. Much less hiring somebody. That's another 100 or more. The must companies have 15. And it fits in four pages actually like 3.2 pages. Someone leaked it and Tesla has never asked that it be taken down.
