Introduction
Inflation is a general rise in the prices of goods and services. The latest c p i report shows that the inflation rate was six point two % for the year ended october. That's the fastest rate we've seen since two years before you were born. One way the fed can cool inflation is to raise interest rates. It hasn't done that yet because it views the causes of this inflation burst as temporary, related an part to supply chain disruptions.
