So how we think about what recreational camping means, we really can't disentangle it from the other forms. She explores that history in camping ground public nature in american life, from the civil war to the occupy movement. And so what we get from thinking about these three different categories, if you will, of camping in the same space is to see how they evolved in conversation and intention with each other.
