The Polish Commonwealth Lacked the Structures to Cope

A quarter of all poles living in towns were killed in these wars. The lack of central unity between king and parliament meant that the institutions no longer worked. Many believe, a hundred year disintegration began from this point. Addin plague, economic disasters, hungry vultures on all sides. And it's obvious the polish lithuanian commonwealth simply lacked structures to cope.
