How Do You Explain the Rise of Income Inequality in the United States?
The power of workers in the United States as proxy by the decline of unionization is part of what's driving income inequality. We've also, and these are probably related, not raised our national minimum wage in over 15 years. The evidence since 2000 or so suggests that at least technological and educational sort of skills in attainment don't really explain much of any of what's going on.
