The Impact of Technology on Epigenetics
Technology is probably bringing a lot of epigenetic shifts to people's life by virtue of being such a different environment. We don't know enough to understand if these changes are maladaptive or actually quite protective. And it's really tempting to forward into the way of thinking that environmental changes are bad things and our adaptations to them are bad things. But we have to be very, very careful about what we mean by good and bad in this circumstance.
