The Importance of Abstaining From Pornea
The word Pornea referred to all the sexual sins in Leviticus 18, and so which included same-sex sexual relationships. The Bible does address questions around Pornea, they are never treated as a agree-to-disagree issue. So that would almost speak against the seen this as a secondary issue. Or we can say the fact that it's not in the creeds means that even the heretics of the first few centuries didn't question the definition of marriage.
