The Tension in the Book of Haggai

Darius the Great was reigning monarch of the Achaemenid Empire from September of 521 ish to about 486 BC. He's the third king after Cyrus the Great, who was responsible for getting into Babylon and freeing the Jews. The tension in Haggai is this: Do we get a king? And so that's where Zerubbabel comes in. Now he's not going to be made king, but we're going to read a really interesting prophecy in the second chapter which is kind of prophetic in the sense of it's a type of Christ.
