Harold Bluetooth's Great Revolt in Denmark
Harold Bluetooth significantly took baptism and supported the introduction of Christianity into Denmark. He also aggressively extended his power eastward onto the islands of the Baltic and across to the Scandinavian peninsula. So he had a very extensive realm unlike any previous Scandinavian ruler. And he endeavored to secure it with great building projects, including an enormous half mile long bridge called Ravening Enga in southern Yutland.
