Is Higher Education at a Turning Point?
Congress created an exemption to the anti trust law that said colleges could look at applicants withot any consideration of their ability to pay. The problem back then was they would talk about individual offers that they were considering for students, and that actually violeno aya anti trust law. How this kind of harms low and middle income students is that, because wealthier students can pay the full cost of school, or almost full cost in many instances, they are more attractive to these schools.
