The Complexity of Agriculture
Every complicated system is actually an abstraction from a complex. Complex is the substrate. What I do is I foreground a finite subset of that into the complicated domain, and then I create a boundary condition. So you can think like agriculture is a complicated system. Each element has emergence built into it. It's not like one emergent possibility. Every single relationship contains both the potential and the actual emergence. That's complexity.
