Hulu created an uproar when people would pay for a subscription that also still had ads in the video content. Hulu also has the ad blocker detector, so that it says like, you have an ad blocker on. The downside of that being that you could create an internet version of the echo chamber and you only see the stuff that reinforces what you already think.
