Tiktok is like this unfiltered response loop where you get what people actually think of you, because they don't know you. The algriv agaritm just put you in front of them, and they're just giving you their thoughts. That's what i think got a little depressing for me, was this idea that everyone's walk around thinking critical thoughts about me privately, but publicly smiling, being polite. I started to grapple with this question: Are people just all alike, sort of cynical and just zipping it up when you meet them?
