I think well if we solve the privacy problem on blockchains where you can do things privately and it's not on a public ledger per se but you get the advantages of a blockchain regardless. I don't see a lot of use cases where people would want to roll their own infrastructure so yeah I generally think like similar to HTTPS and like all the kind of web standards that we take for granted today there are massive network effects to running off a similar standard and using a standardized system.
