As a high school student, Am was exposed to philosophy for the first time. He says it has given him 'deep respect' for philosophers and ero science. As an undergrad he did computer science and general humanistic studies. Later on in his career he studied law at Israel's whiteman institute. His latest book is The Power of Free Will: How Science Can Transform Our World.
