The Motion of the Whole

It is necessary therefore that what is moved should be moved in time and that what is at rest should be at rest in time. But it is necessary that everything which has changed should be divisible. The motion of either of the parts for each part is the motion of each part nor of anything else. Another division takes place according to time because since all motion is in time, there is less motion in a less time.
