How Not to Be a Pacivist All About Howard Zinn
I was influenced a long time ago by Howard Zinn as an essay where he goes through one by one questioning the revolution in the Civil War and World War II. And your concern is that you're a pacifist, but some pacifists are a little bit too keen on making excuses for or even saying nice things about authoritarian regimes. How do you feel about the tendency to just get more worked up about the abuses of your own society? I think there are probably a lot of anti-war and pacifist people who have nothing nice to say about Putin, but they just can't get worked up over his crimes like they can get workedup over US crimes.
