Is Avian Flu a Big Problem?

There was very little innovation for about 20 years in vaccines, antivirals, and rapid diagnostics. Avian flu is wake up our need for innovation around vaccines. Right now, doctors and patients make a pretty rough estimate of what to do about a patient with disease. The cost of doing that is down to hundreds of dollars now and will continue to come down. We're going to see in the next five years moving healthcare to the individual.
