Mafu Shang, a Soldier, Soldier and a Philanthropist.
Mafu shang was essentially handed the province of ning sha, and there he built his power base. Fu sang was born in lin, a county gansou province. He defected to the nationalists, as did mafu sang. And having these two most powerful warlords in the northwest on his side gave yensherkai one less headache. Not only did he acquire a very effective military force, he made these two men his proxies in the northwest.
