In our early life, we have to learn the ones that represent us. The thymus gland in our chest is a big piece of doing that. Antibodies are kind of things that just go mark cells for attack by other parts of the immune system. There are also T cells that have these things called T cell receptors, a little bit like antibodies. So recognize things that are us.
