The 20 20 Homicide Spike Is Primarily Targeted Blacks

On the x axis we have years ranging from 19 99 to two thousand 19 and then on the y axis, we have homicide victims per 100 thousand. We see that asian and white homicide rates are very low throughout the entire period - well below five. Hispanic begins in 19 99 at around seven and declines to a round about five by 20 17, with a slight up tick at the end in 20 20. There also seems to be a much smaller spike for native americans, but there are so few natives that i think this might be random or unrelated.
