The Future of the State on the Blockchain

If you're a progressive, say a European American developed world progressive, Bitcoin is going to scare the shit out of you. There's so much power. But states will survive very well. They just have to come up with better and more fair tax systems that both the left and the right can agree about. And they will also have to retain some values, hard assets, like what you call resources. Not all resources could or should be privatized. When you define the state, the state are the citizens and the citizens are the state on the blockchain.
