The Importance of Churchill's Strategy in the Second World War

Initially bombing was more about targeting industry and economic targets. The RAF work out, they can't do it. They don't have the resources or capabilities to do it. But there is also a belief that by targeting Germany through bombing the subversion idea in blockade, you're weak in Germany. Churchill's wider vision is that they're going to have to draw in the United States at some point and other allies.
