i decided that i was going to do everything as a novel, and i wasn't going to have any essays in this book. At some point the novel did start to feel sort of like, sort of fake, like em like i was writing it just a sort of debunk it. And at that point, i started reading screen writing manuals. So i read save the cat. I read a bunch of stuff about three acts, structure and all this. Most of it is based on joseph cmpbell's the hero's journey. And then there are some sort of feminist attempt to revise it.
