Getting Rid of Blood Wires

You should consider them a sharp so they probably should go into a sharps container but we just talked about how unwieldy they are. I've seen a million methods for dealing with these things and none of them have ever worked out great for me. What I tend to do nowadays is double them in half and then tie the whole thing around itself in a knot which seems to make it a package which fits reasonably well into sharps containers. Don't make this be the time you have to go to the ER because you can contaminate it yourself or someone else.
