Direct TV had an out that it wanted to exercise about two years ago. The NFL shopped these rights two years ago for $1.5 billion. If you talk to direct TV executives, they're very open that they're losing their shirts on this deal now. You do not have to be a YouTube TV subscriber to get Sunday ticket.
