White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki accused the beacon of you guessed it spreading misinformation. The Biden administration does have a $30 million grant program to distribute smoking kits and needles to drug users. A better approach to the problem of disinformation is sunlight. Social media companies should continue to identify foreign actors on their platforms. No social media platform can or should promise to never moderate content.
