The Evidence for the Ancient Tomb Robberies

It raises the question of that narrative is less clear cut than Carter would have us believe. We don't know if this was normal, maybe all tombs were a mess or maybe it had indeed been robbed because maybe the robbers were the people who filled the tomb. There's the other possibility that it wasn't external robbers but maybe the undertakers or the priests or whoever packed the tomb went through the boxes at the time. I mean, we just I guess we just have to take an open mind whether Carter believes this. He certainly wrote it and he is a good excavator. Whether he would lie about it? I just don't know.
