Is It a Debate or a Debate?

i think that sometimes a debates or arguments with people who agree with you on some things are more interesting and useful than debates with someone who you'r complete opposite. I wonder wat either of you make of the movement of quite a number of agents and hispanic voters towards the republicans in the last couple of election cycles. Is it significant? Do you think it will continue? Does it suggest that this rainbow coalition, ah, that the left has been relying on is so unstable that it can't possibly work? And therefore, is there reason to be optimistic?
