How to Engineer Legacies

In the near term, for profit firms on Earth, make AIs for human customers to sit in human like roles. And then over time, they will become a larger fraction of the economy. As we expand out, we will take with us many features of us that we value. So I think what I really want to talk about is how can we engineer legacies? Can we make these von Neumann probe say, okay, on every planet, you're going to have a little human colony and it's going to be a little like Potomkin village or something like that?"
